Club Update - January 2018
Unfortunately Club activities in January 2018 have not started well and as we intended - due to Mother Nature we have had to postpone all of our Club nights so far. Fingers crossed for the dressage this Thursday (25 Jan) – remember to enter with Lynsey Stevenson on Monday (22 Jan) between 7 pm and 9 pm.
There has been a newsletter emailed out to all members and hopefully you have received it (if not, please contact Anne Duignan).
Dates for February are as follows:-
Thursday 1 February – No club night just a committee meeting.
Wednesday 7 February – Gransha RC have very kindly invited us to their venue for an interclub SJ
competition – all details on newsletter.
Thursday 8 February - no club due to being out night before.
Thursday 15 February – Flatwork lessons with Lynne Tennis – if interested please contact Laura Buckley – details again on newsletter.
Thursday 22 February – January’s cancelled SJ league.
Interclub Dressage - Capall RC v Gransha RC
We had a fantastic night at our first Interclub dressage competition. Many thanks to Gransha RC for coming and taking part, great fun was had by all. Massive thanks to Judge Vanda Robinson for all your positive feedback and to scribe Jim. Thanks to all who organised the night and to all helpers who made the night run so smoothly, without you it just would not be possible to run such nights. Well done to all riders and horses who were perfectly turned out for the occasion. Congratulations to Capall team 'The Half Past Its' for winning the Prelim section and to team Gransha 'The Half Pass-ables' for winning the Novice Section.
Here's hoping we have many more Interclub nights!!!
